1963, Mr Guy Delaune, a glass blower, created the company Normandie Labo with, as its sole activity, the manufacture of glassware for the oil refinery laboratories located in the Seine Valley.
A few years later, the company added to its core business the distribution of equipment, consumables and all products for any type of industrial laboratory, in partnership with the main manufacturers of general laboratory equipment.
In 1972, Normandie Labo did its firsts steps in export with various African countries.
In 1976, Normalab developed a range of automatic equipment.
In 1988, Mr Guy Delaune, founder of Normandie Labo, sold the company to his employees by means of an LMBO to safeguard the future of the firm in its original domain of activity.
In 1997, the executives of Analis, based in Belgium and Normandie Labo come to an agreement and Analis makes the acquisition of Normandie Labo so that they improve the synergies between the companies, having a complementary range of instruments and knowledge.
Normandie Labo becomes Normalab Analis France and Analis separates its petroleum activity by creating Normalab Analis Belgium.
In February 2008, Analis sells its shares for both Normalab Analis France and Normalab Analis Belgium to Mr Benoît Ecrepont and Mrs Armelle Fontaine, respectively General Manager and Financial Manager of the two companies. |
